At Tag You’re Beautiful Foundation, we believe that mental health is not a privilege, it’s a right.
Our mission is to create safe, affirming spaces where BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) adolescent girls can heal, grow, and thrive emotionally. We guide them on a transformative journey toward self-worth, self-care, and emotional well-being through culturally responsive mental health education, reflective journaling, and healing-centered programs.
We exist to remind young girls, especially those who have been silenced, overlooked, or underestimated, that their feelings are valid, their voices matter, and their mental health deserves protection. Through trauma-informed and evidence-based practices, we help them learn to navigate anxiety, manage stress, and practice compassion toward themselves and others.
Our vision is a world where every BIPOC girl knows she is safe to express her truth, seek help without shame, and choose herself without guilt.
Because mental wellness isn’t selfish, it’s sacred.
At the heart of all we do is this message:
You deserve peace. You deserve healing. You deserve to be whole.
Tag You're Beautiful. And we’re here to make sure she never forgets it.
Impact on the Community:
In a world where young girls of color are constantly told to be strong, but rarely told it’s okay to need support, Tag You’re Beautiful Foundation stands as a sanctuary for emotional healing and mental wellness.
Our impact begins with a promise: to make mental health care accessible, relatable, and culturally grounded. Through our Mindful Mirror self-care and journaling workshops, mental wellness groups, and emotional literacy programs, we equip girls with the tools to understand and care for their minds. These lessons go beyond coping, they teach girls how to lead with confidence, set healthy boundaries, and nurture self-worth that lasts.
We collaborate with licensed mental health professionals, educators, and community partners to bridge the gap between mental health awareness and access. Together, we are shifting the narrative from “surviving” to “thriving.”
When a girl learns that tending to her mind is an act of power, her confidence ripples through her family, school, and community.
She becomes an advocate for herself and a light for others.
We envision a generation of BIPOC girls who rest without guilt, speak their truth with courage, and love themselves without condition.
Because when girls heal, communities heal, and the world begins to bloom.
